It’s been one week in the hospital and not much has changed. PT has helped, but the pain is worse than expected. Seemingly surgery on the horizon, which will at least give me some stability going forward. Times like these really put things in perspective. I have a great support system around me led wholeheartedly by @FireHeart. She’s the absolute best. Hoping surgery occurs in the next 24-48 hours and with any luck, I’ll be discharged in a few days.

Fractured my L2 lumbar pretty good but with any luck, they’ll brace me up and I won’t require surgery. I may become the aluminum monster for 6-8 weeks but that’s a small price to pay to avoid paralysis. Thanks to those that have reached out!
