Hello models, Another week, another critiques. Let me remind y'all that none of this is meant with ill intent, it's just fun and games. That being sadi, let's go ahead and critique some of these "models". https://www.kovaze.com/group_thread/80 @Maris - The photo meets the brief, kind of... There was asked for it to be vibrant and you're literally the same color as the benches, which are already a deaf tone. The bob is eating but the rest idk it feels kinda lazy, not very interesting to look at. @Jane - The bald head in this type of photoshoot REALLY helps you out, you look stunning, chill, relaxed. It's giving the cool girl who hangs out with 1-2 nerds and everybody wants to be their friend but she's the one that doesn't. Love it. @Cristi - Your hair is probably the hardest to work out of everyone's, the purple being so bright makes it difficult and the bright green/yellow doesn't go very well with it. The sunglasses needed to be a bit lower so we can actually see your eyes or have them on and just give a idgaf vibe. It's almost there. @lluckygc - The pose is a bit too relaxed and chill and with the face not giving any emotion it's just not fully there. Even though the colors are "vibrant" colors it's still a very dull purple and orange so nothing really stands out. @Brat - I think I might hate this :S The jacket being open doesn't do you ANY favours. It was suppose to be oversized but it you makes your body go away completly. Then we have to add that there is no tracksuit on the lower part, they're some jeans :S The pose being on all fours is kinda not it either and there's no vibrant colors :S As the girl who made a photoshoot overdosed I love the risk and you've been killing it but this week you might be having some trouble, sorry. @Medusaluh - I looove the high heel with the tracksuit, it gives high fahsion buuut that's about it. Once again no neck and the same pose and facial expression as last week is giving lazy. I understand that you're trying to give high fashion but there's no vibrancy in this photo, the pink is so dull, your face is almost completly gone and the Dimilux seems like a cheap sticker put on the pants. @Bubba - IDK if I said this to you cause some of you look kinda similar but while I do enjoy the picture and angle being different really complementing the photo style, I need it to be closer cause I kinda lose your face from so far away, I'm looking at too much running track or whatever that is. It's a good photo but it needs a tiny bit of refinement, but better than last week. @Sprite - MOTHER! Girl, the judges are probably going to read you to filth and if I was a judge I'd probably have to too but since I'm not you AAAAte this UP. Thank you for bringing back your green, nobody does green like you and green is literally the color I hate the most. The pose is VERY strong, the look in your eyes is so powerful, the bleachers, the outfit, it's literally my fave by far. The judges will probably knock you down cause where is the oversized? I kinda see what you were trying to give oversize in the boots but idk it's a little bit of a reach and also no tracksuit but honestly idgaf you ate this hahahaha @MissKant - I've really been enjoying your photos so far but this week... :S A lot fo you went for the idgaf not looking at the camera and while it kinda fits the theme, it still needs to read as strong and powerful, not some highschool girl taking photos at PE. All of your picture is matte so the vibrant is nowhere, the black and the green makes everything so dark. I do appreciate the pose at least. @GatoPisado - This is what I meant for Cristi. If you're gonna have sunglasses on, you either have them on or off to the point where we can see your eyes in the camera. Your hair really favours this type of photoshoot cause the orange hair with the vibrant pink is kinda giving 80s but where is the oversize girl? It's titties and body. The left leg needs to be not so bent so it doesn't give lazy as well since you're giving fierce. @KaliMinaj - Im pretty sure I own those shoes lol Another dark blue tracksuit but at least the lighting here helps it be vibrant but it's still kinda boring. I think your makeover made you very generic and you just look like and IG influencer that most of the people wouldn't know their name. While I know it's not your fault, you might have to work on how to make your photos interesting cause it's just kind of MEH... @AntoG - You're so lucky you're still here after last weeks photoshoot.I love the hood on and the pose, this is what I meant for Gato's picture, the leg needs to be not bent. But then you look at the rest of the photo and it's a bit bland, while the gold on the lettering looks good, if Dimitra is asking for vibrant and bold, black and navy blue for the bleachers is not giving bold nor vibrant. @akaliuchis - At this point I feel like Im just repeating myself cause I have the same issue as with Anto's picture, it's nightime and then neither your tracksuit or background helps the photo be bold or vibrant. Also why is your seat almost broken? She's not fat lol Full body was asked for and we can't see half your leg but oh well... Your hair is the most vibrant thing in the picture and it wasn't even your choice. It's just another boring photo sorry. @manyomash - I know this girl, it's the older cool girl at school. Looove the pose and face how relaxed it is but not losing strenght in it. But the rest is a miss for me. Another boring navy blue tracksuit with no vibrant or bold choice made to it. This being said I will say this week is a bit messy for me, if you're not gonna do the prompt completly at least have fun and make something crazy and unique like Sprite, but girls... You don't follow the prompt and then you make the photo boring? Wake up, we're on photoshoot 3 and we need to start seeing some models not just pretty girls. Photoshoot3 ranking: 1. Hello models, This week is one of my least favourites since all Dimitra asked for was to be a pretty girl on top of the dune so you better have done the bare minimum at least. @Maris - Dress code was satin dress and while it does look good, it does not read satin. Love the pose, reads as regal. @Jane - Being so pale and having that dress does not favour you. The scenary while I read that couldn't have much, you could've added something to improve the lighting in the photo, seems kinda lazy. The only thing I like is your makeover, rocking that bald head. @Cristi - TETAS! While it does look good, the pose is very boring and doesn't read as high fashion with the girls being so out and big. The prompt was very clear on top of the dune and there being a higher point in the photo, does not work. @Justini - Welcome to the competition. I have the same critique as Jane, the background is too basic and doesn't read as on top of the dune like Cristi's, just in a desert. The pose is fine, nothing interesting. Much better. @lluckygc- Finally someone who has followed all the instructions. The sun hitting your hair to perfection. The pose is the most interesting so far BUUUT girls be careful with the necks. Don't hide your chin and neck behing your shoulder. @Brat - This is how you eat up a photoshoot. There's not much to critique here. The pose is different and interesting, the dress fits you like a glove, the sunlight is perfect on you. The ONLY thing is the hand you have up in the hair could be stronger cause the hand seems kinda lazy the rest being to strong but it's just the only but. @Medusaluh - While the photo looks very good girlies you need to READ the prompt. I understand it's a boring theme but some of you are making even more boring. Where is the dune??? While I get the vibe, your facial expression is not it, looking down, very tall but no neck. @bubba - I have the same critique as Jane, being so pale and having that color dress does not do you any favours, you get veeery lost in the photo with the dunes being so light as well. The lighting doesn't do you any favour as well. @Sprite - I can see a strong contender for the crown in front of my eyes. Having the sand falling through your hand is KEY to add something interesting to the photoshoot. Your look is so soft right at the sunset, it fits perfectly. No bad critiques, the other girls better watch out. I do miss your green hair <3 @MissKant - While I do appreciate the angle and pose being so different from the rest of competitors, it doesn't read dune or desert or anything, I'm missing like half a picture once again. @GatoPisado - She's on top of the world not just the dune hahaha I appreciate the pose being a bit different from the rest, not just standing. The face needs some work. The scenary is one of my faves, the sun is setting and the wind is starting to pick up make the sand be a bit wild but not taking anything from you. The heels are a choice... The small details make the difference. @KaliMinaj - I do love the scenary + gold dress as in GatoPisado's picture. The pose is a bit not interesting. Careful cause we can almost see your coochie. Very safe, time to take some risks if you want to stand out. @AntoG - What am I looking at? At the worst photo from season 2 I guess... Not much to critique cause it's just a complete mess. @akaliuchis - First one that isn't standing up and it looks fab. The black dress is perfect to contrast how light the sand is. Love the very intense eye contact with the camera. @manyomash - The pose is chief's kiss, one of the best. I understand that the dress flowing was your main point but being so far I lose you a little bit. Would have loved maybe another angle that we could still see you and the dress + cape flowing. Y'all are lucky I didn't win last season and am not a judge cause @Dimitra 's prompt are to follow, if she says satin dress on top of the dune it can't be whatever dress in the middle of the desert, that's not the challenge. I know sometimes it can get boring to follow such strict directions, but when you're out of the show you can do whatever shoots you want, but right now you have to follow the prompts!!! Hello models, This is Ralts Top8 alumni from Dimitra's Next Top Model season 1, the original, we set the bar very high last season so now that nobody is coming in blind I'm expecting a very high level from you models. I had so much fun last season that I will be trying to do a review of every photoshoot. I know Dimitra is very fast with it so I don't know if I will be able to do this every two days but I will try my hardest. #DNTM2 What I most look forward to critique is for creativity, good and clear storytelling and branding. @Maris - This is a very decent start but this is just a very boring approach to the challenge, there's no storyline to it. She's holding a skull kinda huntched. The posture is not very model-esque. At first glance it's safe but it needs a couple things to refine the photo. @Jane - Okay water goddess, the story is veeery clear, she seems in control of water, having the ships sinking. On the other hand, the pose is kind of lazy, she has no neck at all, she's hiding behind her shoulder, it needs to have more strenght in general. Take care of the lines the model creates or it can look messy very soon. @Cristi - Mi madre! My first time playing I also went for this very clear non realistic approach but you'll have to switch it up a lot if you want to have a chance to advance in the competition. It's a complete mess, be careful of proportions, the dolphin is kinda yikes... This is just a pretty girl taking an IG pic for her stories, not even feed worthy. Ponte las pilas <3 @Justini - Girl, this mess? hahahah If Dimitra says mermaid, it's mermaid. If Dimitra says the water needs to be important in the story of the picture, do it. It looks swampy and like it smells bad. And not even a look at the camera? Damn... I don't know if you wanted to be too different but this is a mistake I made a lot during my season, the prompt Dimitra gives is to follow and around that you can be creative but follow it. If you stay, pick it up cause it's gonna be a miracle. @lluckygc - This is how you tell a story without having to look at the camera, you get the vibe instantly. I think you needed to crop it a bit closer cause there's a lot of the image that is just empty and just boring. @Brat - I really enjoy the lighting in the pic but there's something missing for me. For some reason it just doesn't look appealing for me, it gives me those sticker tiktoks that they keep adding on a background. Even though everything seems cohesive, it looks like nothing fits properly. That being said, the pose is fierce. @Medusaluh - Mother!! I'm gonna need some advice for all stars how you were able to get AI to get you almost naked cause I was the OG naked girl but you made it soooo classy. I'm really gonna need you to keep the smoker vibes, it's so elegant and sexy and hot and everything. You really came to slay this other girls, they should be scared. @Bubba - I'm sure this picture actually has a story that I'm not getting and understanding but it seems more like a jewelry ad than a mermaid photoshoot. It's giving pretty girl but I need more clear storytelling. Pick it up. @Sprite - The branding is so strong!! I'm a big black background hater cause you kinda lose everything in the darkness but your green being so vibrant that it contrasts to perfection. The only critique is while the ocean and weather is so messy but your hair is static and dry, if you would've included more madness into it would have been perfect. Amzing start!! @missKant - I'm rewatching Drag Race season 11 and this is giving Plastique Tiara boots! It's such a beatiful picture and while I love the story you're teeling I feel like I'm missing half of the picture to continue telling it. Who did this to her? It's almost there. Very strong first photoshoot. @GatoPisado - I guess you're not hungry any more cause damn you did eat this photo for sure. Singing to atract sailors to their next death while being in control of the water cause that's your home. I love your energy and the background's energy is so synergetic. The only but would give is I would've had her look straight at the camera to captivate the look in her eyes while doing all of this. Another very strong start. @KaliMinaj - This is one of the pictures that just gives me pretty. It's a pretty girl posing on a rock. What else is there to you? There's no story at all. @AntoG - While being in the same realm of style of Cristi's picture this is much better but once again I'm missing some more story. If you're not gonna give story you better give a STRONG pose but this is kinda boring. Safe but pick it up. @akaliuchis - Body teaaa!! But that's about it. Another pretty girl with a boring pose. The sailors on the background just cause... Meh @manyomash - This is a model for sure. This is what I mean when if you're not gonna give us story, at least give us MODEL. The head leaning seems a little bit forced and tense but it's still elegant. Decent start. In general I can tell almost everyone watched Season 1 and came here to BRING it. This competition is going to be fierce, I can't wait to see you you can do in the future weeks. Congratulations ladies. Remember this is just and AI game and all of us have different opinions, none of this is to discredit anyone's work. And please be kind to my girl @Dimitra cause she works very hard to give us something different to do around here and be grateful you got cast out of more than 30 applications.
