A brand-new Discord music competition is looking for players!
In **Track Record**, every contestant represents **one musical artist for the entire season** and competes by submitting songs from that artist’s discography.
But there’s a catch…
🎤 **YOU DON’T CHOOSE WHO YOU PLAY.**
When applying, every player submits **5 artists** they would be willing to represent.
After applications close:
🎲 **12 contestants are randomly selected for the cast.**
🎲 **Each cast member is then randomly assigned 1 of their 5 artists.**
No judge-picked favorites. No guaranteed first choices. You work with the artist fate gives you.

🎧 **HOW THE GAME WORKS**
Each round, contestants submit **one unused song** from their assigned artist.
There are:
❌ No themes
❌ No genre restrictions
❌ No complicated prompts
Submit whatever song you believe gives you the best chance of surviving.
Three judges will listen to every submission and independently rank the songs based on one thing:
⭐ **HOW MUCH THEY LIKE THEM.**
Your rankings are combined to determine the results.
Choose wisely.
Do you burn one of your artist’s biggest songs early?
Do you gamble on a deep cut?
Do you save your strongest material for when you really need it?
Every song can only be used once.

Winning **Track Record** comes with more than bragging rights.
The artist you win with becomes **YOUR OWNED ARTIST**.
Only you may include that artist among your 5 choices in future seasons.
But ownership does **not** guarantee you’ll get them again — your artist will still be randomly selected from your five choices like everyone else.
Artists that fail to win remain available for future players and future seasons.
Build a legacy. Defend an artist. Or take someone else's failed run and prove you can do it better.
