I’ve officially wrapped up my summer concert series and NGL this ranking is NOT easy. 1. Ariana Grande - Eternal Sunshine Tour - this is a bit inflated since she’s mostly #1 cause I’ve been DYING to see her live for a decade but she also ate the house down and #hatethatimadeyouloveme has been on repeat for over a month and seeing it live changed my life 2. Shakira - Las mujeres ya no lloran tour - I was barricade and she made eye contact with me when she sang Zoo. Phenomenal performer and being that close I can confirm her hips really do not lie. Fucking reina de mi vida. 3. Noah Kahan - The Great Divide Tour - Seeing this at Fenway Park was a dream of mine and despite not knowing every song from his discography, i LOVED every minute of it. I’d seen him before or else he’d be ranked above both TBH. Shakira and Ari get the 1 and 2 spots solely bc I’d never seen them and I’ll always stan a queen over a man. 4. Hilary Duff - the lucky me tour - holy shit the nostalgia was insane. Why Not? ateeee. And Come Clean was peak. Laguna Beach raised me so hearing that live was wild. Hilary is so cute and I am obsessed w her as an actress (Raise Your Voice). I am just so happy for her success this year. Idt anyone couldve predicted her selling out venues as big as she did. She might be 4th but only cuz every concert was BOMB this summer 5. Newport Folk Festival CMAT is a breakout star. I love an irish woman who can perform! And she’s one of my new obsessions Lumineers also tore the house down at the festival but I am just not a huge male vocalist kinda guy (see above re: stan a queen) but respect the craft. Ophelia slapped but I am wicked annoyed they didn’t play Ho Hey. Like sorry Lumineers but I only know like 3 of your songs so plz play the popular ones ALL IN ALL: NO COMPLAINTS. So happy to have seen such incredible artists this summer and would recommend all!!!
