It’s very important for the owner of a site to have a PASSION for building the site alongside financial benefits. At the same time, Sin has accomplished so much in the very short time he’s been developing this platform and doesn’t need to constantly be on and coming up with fresh ideas every 2 seconds and always making new games and always entertaining everyone all the time. I hope that he can find a balance, assign roles to people who can help fill gaps (like events teams for example), and enjoy life simultaneously while continuing to make improvements from time to time. This shouldn’t consume him but it should always continue to be something that can be made better. Whether in a few weeks or a few months or a year. Regardless I do think communication is key, and since Royale has been released we haven’t been getting much of it TBH. It’s totally ok for their to be development lulls, but I think flat out saying “I will be taking a break to focus on real life stuff” or “I will be stepping away to quiet out some of the negative voices” was necessary. I’m glad we know where he’s at with it. I hope that with the transition, communication can continue to thrive so users aren’t left feeling confused, abandoned, or impatiently waiting for something that’s not coming.
