My point was NOT
that it’s okay to harass people. My point was that if you accept a role that involves making events for a community, you should expect some backlash. If it gets to the point of actual harassment (not being called a mean name one time on the kovaze blogs page) that is when those users should be banned. But yes, in general people who have public facing jobs should have thick skin.

And that WAS the point I was making too. The amount of harassment was to the point where we had to defend ourselves vs. focusing on actually creating and hosting events. I know I have thick skin and can defend myself and the rest of the team could too, but it was so distracting that it was impossible to host things. Just like what happened with the mod team, and probably what will happen to future teams.
DK I mean, should those users not face a ban then?
