i detest the inland pike
i smile because i know it feels great pain and terror at my hands. i released the vile imp back into the lake. not out of mercy, but out of malice. nature is unencumbered by what is good or evil, she concerns herself with only harmony. thus the pike will soon face a far more humiliating death than any i can give. its fate is now left to the magnificent pelican. i regret witnessing said pelican swoop down, failing to snatch the disgusting pike. but in that moment, it lost neither honour nor glory. unlike the loathsome pike, the pelican will flourish with grace and dignity.
