how the fuck are you supposed to play royale??????
two of three times i played, i have gotten jumped by people who i considered my friends for literally no discernible reason other than they vaguely decided i'm a threat for literally no reason. like am i supposed to be messaging all 50 people and making them all my best friend so they won't decide i might maybe sometime eventually consider going after them and kill me within 2 minutes when i'm not looking at the screen??????????? what is the strategy to this game because the last 2 times i played i wasted like 26 hours of my life each time for no payout other than 100 hurt feelings points.
the other time i played i was killed in my sleep and don't know how it went down to this day but i don't really care because it was by someone who i attacked and i think i willfully fell asleep in a danger zone because i didn't understand how it worked so it's not really relevant to the blog. i'm just frustrated because i've entered every single royale raffle and this is the first time i got chosen from that instead of a clickrace and the chance i get to play and get #redemption from the game where i was jumped by people i like for no reason just for it to happen again with even less prompting by people who i like more

And ya know if they’re deciding between killing you and summer they’re probably gonna kill you first bc if they leave you alone you can collect items and kill them even if ur not planning to do that. The bloodthirsty players (I’m one of them) play a kill or be killed mindset so hopefully that helps next time like you really gotta lock in with the power players and/or kill off everyone who would even think to kill you. Not saying it was wise just offering the mindset of those types of players since I spent 2 days hiding from them

I feel like in any large cast game you gotta identify the people who will be bloodthirsty (lover is a very good example of this) and get on their good side until you have the damage and allies to kill them. Like yea you could hypothetically get killed any moment but realistically that’s gonna happen at the hands of somebody running a danger zone so you rly have no choice but to be on good terms with those sort of players bc they will kill you the second they can ya know

Dynasty fighting one person =/= jumping. words mean things. but regardless, you're saying lover and luxray killed me because i killed you? because that's not at all the reason i was given by luxray. maybe that was pussy ass lover who is too scared to reply to me's reason? you're literally the only person i fought all game and luxray said they had no clue i didn't have any items because i had just fought to death with you.

Dynasty well you said allies and two people killed me, so it was a pretty safe assumption you were referring to the two people who killed me 🤯 if lover participated because of that, i wouldn't know because he's still mute, but i would still consider it a really stupid reason for him in particular to kill me one person who wasn't me used two snipers on you during the fight before the one where you died, which i didn't ask them to do. you and i literally fought like 10 times and our health went back and forth so i genuinely don't understand how you wouldn't consider that fighting and would say i jumped you. my intentions were pretty blatantly clear. of your 100 health, i personally got rid of 90 of it when you were present and fighting back. that is not the same as multiple people coming together and spamming enough itmes to kill me. what happened to me is not at all what i did to you. i understand you think you're doing some "gotcha" moment but it's just not comparable.

The big issue I kept having was people just kept on jumping me without saying anything, but I believe that was because of auto-clickers since once I ran away they just attacked me again to the point where I had to leave on my phone and quickly hit the map on my computer or teleport/bee myself before running away from a battle. Then since I had to rely on items but most of them were very weak in attack points which I guess they needed to balance the attack points of a challenge win. I don't understand why attack me if there is no incentive besides hurrying up things but they could just use me to get rid of big targets with the items I had. The breaking point was just being all alone waiting for items as I slowly die with nobody talking to me where I realize this wasn't fun and berried myself. I do agree with people saying it is a player issue because some people are just chill and we braided hair and played with dead player bones, but I understand the frustration completely <3.
Honestly girl this. I feel like I only won my last one cus ppl felt bad for jumping me in previous royales and I got to know those guys better but like honestly you js need to know the people who will run the game and stick with them, making sure you get them before they get you.
Its less of a game mechanic issue and more of a player base issue
in my experience if you join and then sit in the watch tower for 2 days without moving or speaking to anyone, you can get 5th place!

Just woke up just as confused
I personally find the game very nice and interesting. The sleep issue, however, is a big problem because you simply cannot be on a screen 24/7 just to make sure nobody kills you. I had suggested that there could be some pop-ups, like a “shield”, that could give you about 4 hours of camouflage — even against weapons — so nobody could attack you during that time. It’s also a social game, and of course you need to be friendly and make alliances. But having to talk with 50 people on Discord just so they won’t attack you while you’re sleeping is honestly very exhausting. Maybe a format with fewer players and a slightly faster game that’s more accessible to everyone would be better — for example waiting rooms, and games with around 25 players instead of 50, and of course with smaller payouts if something like that happened. It’s a really nice game, but the sleep issue is frustrating. The raffles are also a bit tricky because you never know when the game will end — you might be asleep and suddenly wake up 6 hours later and realize you’re inside the Royale because you were selected. As for what you said about friends attacking you, that really is unpleasan 🥹 PS: I hope my Google Translate makes sense haha.
Dimitra thanks for such a thoughtful response! i really like the format honestly! i think there could be tweaks made, but i think i'm mostly just frustrated that how i'm playing isn't working or i'm getting a bad hand. i don't think it's the game issue haha. i just genuinely don't know what i need to do differently
