the problem with Royale isn't premading
its a combination of premading and payouts. Literally look at how good the payouts for Royale are on the game page. There is zero incentive to flip if you are at the bottom of like a 9-10 person premade because you will still walk out with a fat wallet and then you can just premade the next one too, not to mention the differences in payouts between placements is pretty low, like only a few coins/points difference between 1st-6th is dumb sorry.
If you really wanted to see some cutthroat gameplay you would limit payouts to only the top 4 AND have a huge gap between each placement like hunger on TG was

This is a great idea to make everybody not in a premade friend group never wanna play again.
Payouts can start for 15th to 1st
Payouts are bound to be fine tuned, suggest me some payouts for royale @ those who feel they have a good grasp on the game!
Sin I think just having less people make payouts and a bigger difference between the top placements would go a long way. me personally, im not going to sheep my premade and get like 7th if the payouts compared to like 4th are much better, it would highly incentivize putting yourself first and making moves
Sin I would have low payouts for 20th-10th and that 1st should be double the prize for 2nd place
Sin payouts for the top 20 but on the low side for 20th-10th. then medium for 9th-4th. the top 3 should be big i think.

i think they payouts are like this because he was expecting less premades to actually make it in together honestly the people outside the premades are worse cuz they will see them and run around attacking and killing potential allies for no reason and then r shocked when the 11 person friend group get 1 thru 11
o_o I agree with you and in a perfect world the payouts would stay like they are. but the reality is in a cast of 50+ people you are going to see large groups of people just meta game, its a lot more easy to play a fluid game in a cast of like 13
Also one of the big groups that premades The Fam, from what I can see is sharing wins, basically handing out wins to someone in that premade. If I was in it why would I ever flip on my friends knowing, I am getting paid, Knowing one day I will win, and the people are my friends its like why would I ever betray them Also most of the times people who are mad about premades would premade the first chance they got if they had friends
