my favorite part of my job
is waking up at 9:55am for my fifteen minute 10am zoom meeting where everyone talks about what they will work on for the day and then immediately after the meeting heating up food and getting on league of legends

i think my favourite part has to be working with kids and getting to watch them grow over time, not just academically but as people. seeing a child who was once shy start to find their voice, or someone who struggled with confidence begin to believe in themselves, is honestly the most rewarding feeling. it makes all the challenges worth it because you know you played even a small role in their progress. those moments where they surprise themselves, or come back to tell you they finally understood something, stick with me the most, and it’s what reminds me why i love doing this work in the first place.
