would you not expect their score to be 0? Am I missing something here

maybe they're playing on mobile and they just meant the lights went out
if the wifi cuts the score wont submit to the server. it happened to me in words in an arena recently. Submitted as 0 becuase the router went out as i was finishing the comp.
