It's Bittersweet

That it took 2 white people being murdered by ICE for so many people to finally wake up to the horrors of what is going on. I'm glad that these cases have broken into the mainstream and the overwhelming majority of politically disengaged people are really beginning to see what's going on. However, it makes me sad that so many non white people have been terrorized and brutalized by this administration for the past year and it was barely a blip on the news. I can only imagine the true horrors of what has happened to the people detained by ICE when everything comes to light. What we actually know and can see happening now is horrific enough.
