I do think
the real issue with this community is people will pick and choose when to take a person seriously or not (even when it is very certain they are not being serious), just to target them with bans / 'get them' in a way. It's very much a microcosm of actual real life but its very apparent y'all cherry pick things often to decide what needs to be punished and what doesn't and it changes every 12 hours.
I stand with benopolis to be clear. not like the words that were said but the fact there shouldn't be a 14 day ban for what was said lmao. Like sorry I got actually harrassed on here for 3 hours and they got a 2 point honor reduction no ban. I don't believe the mods are effective.

I understand that to you all it was a joke but to some people, it’s not a joke. The conversation was: “This is crazy maybe ill just eat some poison berries” -Corey Ben then said “Maybe you should do that in real life.” And im sorry but making a suicide joke to someone online isn’t always taken lightly by the person who the joke was intended for. And this isn’t the first time Ben faced a ban for this behavior. Food for thought.

100% agree with you on this besides defending Ben lol. It’s a mob mentality a lot of times and it’s definitely egged on by those who get a kick out of it, but I am serious that there needs to be harder punishments for these things, which would hopefully make them stop happening for the most part.

SirVivor again. I don't think any instance was with incredibly ill intent or malice, I think intent matters, I think to him it ws a joke and very not serious. So like it's up for debate I do suppose to me.
It does feel like common sense has been missing in a lot of these conflicts.
