definitely propane, I got a blackstone for christmas a few years back and it's fantastic

get a propane grill it's not as dependent on the weather and it still has a good smoky flavor

i like charcoal
i have a gas grill and its pretty neat, charcoal grills can provide a different flavor profile with the smoke though
