sobriquet well i watched one episode and i'm at peace with perhaps disliking him. he is NOT what i thought he would be.
Didn’t care for both. 48 is horrible. I struggled getting through every single episode of the merge. I skipped the finale. 49 I did watch entirely and even though it’s weak. I enjoyed it more than 48.
49 is better but on a binge both would be fun
people are over dramatic about 48. sure, the postmerge is on the boring/predictable side but the premerge is EXHILARATING imo and kind of balances it out. overall a weaker season but not the worst of all time like people say. 49 is the opposite, slow and uneventful premerge and a very fun chaotic postmerge. 49 is definitely the better of the two but i don’t think it’s as drastic of a quality increase as people are making it out to be. and also rizgod is a legend
Tone your opinion is very much appreciated tbh! i dont mind a boring merge sometimes because that goes by quickly
48 starts out great with pre-jury and then just dies. 49 had a very okay merge and it had Sage, and some other interesting women, we were so close to some good feuds happening. It very slowly gets better as it goes on, but not a whole lot. Some poor editing choices. If I had to rewatch one, I'd rather not but 49 ig.

i'd say 49 was better overall but neither season is terrible. 48 does slow down toward the end.
I don’t typically ever say a season is bad because I love Survivor so much and 48 wasn’t ‘bad’ but the gameplay exuded during the season was actually my least favorite, I believe, to date.
48 was potentially some of the worst casting of the new era

48 has a great pre merge and slow post merge. But the bad post merge soured the overall opinion of it 49 sucked the whole way through.

48 was awful, super boring and predictable. 49 was my fav season in a long time, bit of a slow burn but the merge was top tier
