I've been trying to Broaden my TV horizons

so I watched Somebody, Somewhere...and I just couldn't get into it. I'm from an area like this and it hits very close to home but I just couldn't get with it. Like everything about it I should be very into it. Fat main character, weird side characters, sad real life issues, literally all things I would fuck with. I just couldn't!
