Hey everyone, I want to address the general moderation tension that’s been happening lately. Kovaze has grown quickly, and with that comes a higher volume of reports, conflict, and situations that need decisions made fast. That pressure has been hitting the moderation side hard, and I’m not going to pretend it hasn’t affected me too. I’ll be straight: there have been moments where I’ve reacted emotionally - snapping, speaking too harshly, or handling something while annoyed, and even when the decision itself was justified, the delivery wasn’t always how it should’ve been. As the owner, I’m held to a higher standard, and I’m taking that seriously. I’m not here to debate specific cases publicly, and I’m not walking back the fact that rules still need to be enforced to keep the site safe. But I do recognise that the way things are communicated and handled matters, and we’re making improvements. What’s changing moving forward: • We’re bringing in additional moderators so the workload isn’t sitting on a small group of people (and so decisions aren’t being made under pressure). • Reports and bans will run through the moderation team only, and I should be contacted only in cases of an emergency (such as hacking). • We're introducing an honour system to reward users who have demonstrated good behaviour, and to be more consistent with our bans. More on this soon. I’ll still handle the situations that require direct admin involvement (like multi-accounting/security issues and urgent), but please do not contact me regarding moderation issues. If you’ve felt uneasy watching how things have played out, I understand why. The goal is for Kovaze to feel fun, welcoming, and stable without compromising safety. If it would help, I’m open to doing a live Q&A so people can ask questions about how moderation will work from here and we can reduce rumours and confusion. If this is a video game and youre up against all npcs on the same level this ones always gonna be the hardest one to take down. 12 hours after I survived my first nomination they almost unanimously threw me right back onto the block. When I say I’ve been the house target since day 1 it’s not even an exaggeration. In 5 rounds of nominations I have received 24 votes; they won’t even give me the time of day or a chance to play. I’ve been accused of bullying, which I certainly haven’t done. I have been nothing but respectful towards other players in the house and will continue to do so no matter what. Regardless of everything, I’m going to continue doing my best and I ask for your continued support in my Celebs journey. Well I didn't think I'd get so close to someone just to have them turn on me the second things got tough, but that's Celebrities, baby! I have been overly empathetic to people in this game who have been going through the motions of letting the game get to them.
