First impressions of the new Shops Game

Hey! Just wanted to share our first impression of the new shops game which has been an overall positive one. One of the biggest issues of the previous format was that it forced all shop owners to match and beat each others prices - meaning shops was either always expensive, or always cheap (and therefore empty because everything was sold out). With this new change, we’re seeing a range of prices - from cheap designs, to more expensive ones for those who have a little more in their coin purse. We’ve also given 24 stock to each public shop and that’s also helped the shops remain stocked, which is great to see! We’ll keep an eye out on how the shops game and economy is impacted for the next few rounds before we call it a success, but so far we are envisioning the rework as a major improvement to the previous system.
