Can we do something about inactive partners in race

I am not saying I have never not played a race by a mistake. I just think if there is a way we should auto eliminate anyone that saves a 0. Shouldn't be fair to people who are playing trying when your partner just potentially screws you over. I also think its just fair if they are gone somehow too. Then the people who have been playing off the other 2 teams are automatically partners or something. Thoughts?
