Find a group of close friends you trust. When you start going out, always look out for each other and never leave without them at a party. If your friends seem too out of it, make sure they get home safely and keep them away from weird guys. The first few times you go out with a group of new friends, always observe and don’t drink. the only thing at school rn that matters is ur grades. there is no drama or even friendships beyond ur super close friendships that will matter in like 3 years. itll all seem completely frivolous and silly and stupid. dont get too hung up on ur "young" years that are in movies and shows. the 17-22 year old ages arent all partying and fun and wild like media makes them out to be and they dont have to be. infact they shouldnt.
