For everyone's context: Recently, there are a LOT of school shootings in the Philippines for a short amount of time, which is very alarming. But the cybercrime body is only looking for band aid solutions to avoid grooming of children into committing violence and be exposed to extremist contents, and that is by banning some online platforms like Reddit & Discord. For now, it's only restricted on some mobile networks. But, it could be the start of further restrictions from here on out. It's not the right way to do it tbh. I agree, it's so fucking dumb..
