"AFAB" transphobic? im in a girl gamers group and some of them have started adding it to their posts when looking for people to play with. apparently it stands for "assigned female at birth" ??!!

yea AFAB is inclusive not transphobic it is a way for non binary people to describe their gender identity in more descriptive terms
It depends on the context IMO. If you're using it to describe a specific person (i.e. they are an AFAB non-binary person), then no. Knowing nothing else of context, I don't think anyone can give you a hard rolling, but if they are saying I only want to play with AFAB cis women, then yes, it would be transphobic IMO.
