Minie It's not allowed, but i dont remember seeing a report for this recently or it may have been missed because theres been a decent amount of reports coming in. The truth is that Nenalala is a conflicting force on this site, and while many people have valid reasons for disliking Nena, many other people are just using an opportunity to attack someone they dont like. The problem is that we dont want to invalidate peoples feeling or make people feel like we are protecting Nena, but we also do not want to see these public arguments and attacks happening and thats why we always encourage using the filter and hide functions. This is not a site where people shouldn't learn how to coexist with people you do not like, its going to happen. If its that serious, avoid them. The mods cannot be a bodyguard to look out for every other comment that may be said about someone, someone being mean is not the same as harassment esp when you have the tools to avoid said person.

x It's not that im okay with it, its just from a mod standpoint what is the difference between this and any other insult said? If we ban for calling people ugly, why dont we ban for calling someone fake, or a liar, or any other basic insult. Calling someone ugly is not a slur and people have honestly done and said worse things that ppl wouldnt even consider being bad. I do think that the people in question can also put in effort to resolve things before bringing in moderation to fix a regular person to person issue.

Honestly, no one is in a position to judge, because more than a few people have said horrible things to me on this site—things that might have driven someone else to suicide in my shoes. Lover Wish someone to have aids is bad, but I feel like he only said that because he doesn’t really know how to properly express his anger or disappointment because of the language barrier. Like what Minie said, Nena doesn’t even know how to type a full sentence without using a translator, so it’s possible that what he’s trying to say sometimes doesn’t come across the way he actually means it. I also saw a hate blog about him saying that he doesn’t know how to communicate with his race partner then proceed to attack him in the blogpage, but I feel like that could also be because he isn’t very familiar or comfortable speaking our language yet. I’m not saying that excuses everything, but I do think it’s important to consider the language barrier before assuming that he meant something negatively.
