my biggest issue with current events

is that they’ve started to feel a little monotone. A lot of them feel like variations of the same concept like it's basically a regular game, but with a specific comp or restriction attached to it. Since that type of event happens so frequently, at least from my perspective, it starts to lose that sense of prestige or excitement that makes you think, “I HAVE to participate in this one.” I think having more variety in the types of events we host would give people more of an incentive to participate and make individual events feel more memorable and special. And ofc, this isn’t meant as criticism toward the organizers themselves. I know organizing these things takes a lot of time and patience, especially when you’re dealing with a bunch of people who will criticize basically everything you do. I just wish we had a little more diversity in the events we host and experimented with some different concepts every once in a while.
