celebs11 - am i the asshole?
am i the asshole for (how it appears to me) doing what i had to do to survive in celebs11?
i have been absolutely crucified by my fellow cast members for "spamming" and doing as much as i could on the site to get votes for me to stay. how i see this is a way of gameplay and something i was expecting of everyone else. i wanted to fight as hard as i could and make sure i would survive the poll.
other people disagree with this, saying its unfair or essentially rigged as this is not how the game was intended. i fail to see it this way. shouldnt everyone be using all their resources to try to win the game?

Personally, the whole game of stars/celebs is IN THEORY, that the public follows a game and votes based on that gameplay etc. For example, if a cast seems premadey or renoms a lot or if someone is doing cool vlogs or provided entertainment in house chat or if someone is playing a great game and doesnt go up a lot. Therefore, the concept of spamming just kinda cancels the strategy part of it and makes the game kinda obsolete. Like why sign up for a game that values public perception only to message ppl to vote for you. It kinda defeats the purpose and ruins the fun imo. Strap your boots, play a killer game, do your vlogs and other stuff that you already did in a great way (the dad thing really i think got you support) and let the public decide without interfering
Maybe because I dealt with you in ASBB (watch #ASBB5 now on Tubi) YW Amanda so I wasn't fully phased at what you did. It was a normal Tuesday for me. Spamming is frowned upon but people still do it, just like premades. It is just WHO is doing it that is the issue where it makes assholey or that is okay. It is just how things roll on here. Like you getting your dad to vote for you was a good chuckle chuckle. I put my faith in the public so I didn't spam. It is just something I never felt like doing and wanted to put my energy in other things (like crying on the floor) because at the end of the day, the people who do get it should have brain cells (hopefully) to realize that they don't have to follow your spam (or others) and can vote for other people. If we are going to hold you accountable, we need to hold EVERYONE accountable and not just from this game. No shade to those who did because at least they owned up to it. Some people will take it to their graves that they didn't spam. Now get ready for bed. You have a big day tomorrow. School pictures and soccer practice. I think you just weren't around for the days of Tengaged and Stars (which celebrities is based off of). So something that was so serious on there transferred here. But it is an unspoken social rule. And really how are you meant to know about it 🤷♂️
