Why do shop owners sometimes post for ridiculous amounts like what’s the purpose of it?I just see it all the time like do people actually buy at that amount or what?

Some people are just greedy, I never sell above 500 and with the greedy girls out I lose money just to be able to bid enough to open shop and sell at that price. I didn’t even get my shop again cause the bids would have me losing at least $800 koin right now.

Bosslady, you are one of the few shop owners who always give back to the public with fair prices. I know there are others, but I forgot- not you though. So if you priced yours at 10,000, I would be like, she deserves to do it. I know it is a "shop game" but I feel like the system doesn't feel all gamey yet.

the last few months the top 2 shop owners get to move on. its resulted in many shop owners basically farming koinz off the public cycle after cycle. luckily, thats going away next week FINALLY :D so now, posting high would just purely be for greed. in my opinion, if i can make my shop bid back, and maybe + a few hundred to buy a new design... im happy! i enjoy designs, making them, and watching everyone enjoy them. no need to exploit others.

CupidStunt it was posted in a blog but most people won't play investigator journalist to find it, but it would be nice if the shop game rules were posted in shops or when you are setting up one but after Cycle 113 (so next week I think) it will go away and something else will happen.
CupidStunt yuppppppp lol. so not only are they profiting off milking the public, they insanely profit off getting a free shop and repeating the cycle overrrrr and overrrrrrr. ive been saying since the day this update happened it was BADDDDDDDDD. i dont blame the shop owners too much... cus i get it... but man it sucks all prices just inching higher and higher each cycle so they can beat each other. usually they will save 1-2 stock and their friends will buy it out minutes before daychange to secure their spot lmao. i dont understand how thats fun at all.

I agree, the only thing that makes sense if you wanted things to be sold in a bundle and not individually.
if you see an INSANE price, it usually means it's a request for a specific person, and they will lower it when that person gets on. Like that hair in Cookie's shop, I am sure she is waiting for Holly to get on and then she will lower it for her
