Bangkok.. Fiji can be done right, but its generally just resort vibes and not as big of a a cultural experience (IN GENERAL.. a good fiji trip can be done, I just dont fuck with resorts).
If I were to go to Fiji, i'd stay off a resort and in a town, and explore that way. I certainly would not stay on an excluded compound on a beach with shitty meal packages.
