How do people consistently

The chain length points grow not evenly. Example a 3 (30) and 4 (50) chain has a difference of 20 points. Example a 10 (730) and 11 (1110) chain has a difference of 380 points. Note that a chain of 7 is worth 310. It is WELL worth your time to slowly pick away at small chains to get 1 or 2 very large chains throughout your game.
