Might not be a hot take but like the best player rarely wins??? Like no offence winners you obviously all won so you did something right but people really like to think social and strategy gets you the win?? Like no girl having friends on the side gets you the win. No shade it’s a popularity contest more than a skill based game. If you were well known on other sites like tengaged & zwooper you’re just going to have a much higher probability of winning the game cause 90% of the site simply doesn’t give a fuck what’s happening in the game they’re just hear to save their friends.

It’s always been a popularity contest. It’s literally what the game is. The best player is the one who plays the public, nothing more nothing less.
koolness234 yes but half the time the player could say absolutely nothing to the public and still win just cause they’re popular before the season even starts
Josh Yes because it’s a popularity contest and the end of the day. A good stars / Celebs winner puts the groundwork in long before they join the game. It’s never about being the most strategic player, it’s about convincing the public to support you and often times that is done with your interactions months before.

Not necessarily, you can argue IceBeast had a better strategy on my season, but me and Cherry built a storyline that was worth rooting for, the underdogs people were coming after, etc. It's about the story, no one cares about strategy (in any RTV show)

DK well yes but sometimes the story gets in between the popularity... we've seen Kindred7 fall off a couple times here and there
BRAT people always write us off as just being popular, but we were working hard to give people something to root for. Our story was amazing

Because the game is a PUBLIC-first one, not a strategy-first one. It is great gameplay to not be nominated, but if you’re not pandering your gameplay for the public to see then what’s the point?
DK I mean but too be fair when you go into a season before anything even happens there’s like 3 people that you know one of them is winning simply cause they’re more popular on the site

DK obviously I come into every game wanting to win but I fully was prepared to go the first time I was in a poll just cause I’m one of the least known on the cast. I’m not criticizing the format or anything I just think people need to not take it so seriously when evicted cause it’s not even anything they did it’s just cause the other person has more friends coming into the season
