I just hate the F slur idgaf (story time)

i am too woke. I was at mcdonalds after the bar, very gay dressed, and some guy and his friend come in. They explain to another group of guys nearby who were already sitting down that they don't know and just met, about a time blondie (one of the guys who came in) tried to get into the mcdonalds bathroom and the guy in the bathroom was like "its occupied" so blondie told the guy in the bathroom to hurry up, and the guy in the bathroom called him the f slur, and to fuck off. Now, when telling this story blondie didn't say "f slur" he said the actual slur several times when telling the story. He was just retelling a story, but he still used the f slur and a VERY OBVIOUS gay guy (ME) was 3 feet away from him. Telling a story or not, it rubbed me the wrong way. Would it be okay if he said the N Slur while telling a story??? I didn't speak up but i wish i did. I walked outside after getting my food and waited for my uber and I genuinely felt so sad. All he was doing was telling a story about something some guy who wasn't him said and it still fucking bothered me!! I just have bad memories of homophobic men calling me the F slur so the normalization of the word really never sat well with me. anyway the guys who were originally sitting down came outside and got in their uber and i could see them asking the uber guy something and then they pointed at me. I think they were going to buy my way home :') but my uber came immediately after and i just got in. I think they felt bad for me there are GOOD straight men in this world still.
