About slow games

Slow-paced games where dialogue is key to achieving a good ranking are great for the site; they keep activity levels high and foster a stronger sense of community. While we all know Discord and social media exist for chatting, competitive players like myself see a huge benefit in conversations that serve a dual purpose: connecting with others while also earning points in the game. We know that on the previous site—similar to Kovaze—there were two modes that were excellent for strengthening relationships and delving into various topics; even when you just needed to bounce ideas around or get some friendly support, a meaningful conversation could spark right there if both people were online at the same time. Sometimes Kovaze can feel stagnant—with closed games, offline players, and boredom setting in—but knowing there is space to talk while also contributing to victories makes the game far more engaging.
