Eight participants remained. The surviving angels were Sprite, Gabs, Jessiejedi, and Lexus. The surviving demons were Katie, Brat, JuleWopp, and Seong. The arena began collapsing toward a central altar surrounded by fragments of both realms. Sprite kept the angels together. Even after so many deaths, she refused to allow the survivors to turn against one another. Katie attempted to form a final demonic alliance. JuleWopp remained near her, protected by their own magic. Brat followed at a distance with an army of corpses. Seong accepted the temporary alliance but showed no signs of loyalty. Gabs encountered JuleWopp on a narrow bridge leading toward the altar. The demon’s chaos magic prevented a direct approach, while the protective half of their power blocked the archer’s arrows. The sisters studied the way JuleWopp fought. The male body focused on destruction. The female body maintained protection. The archer began firing repeatedly at the male half, forcing the female half to reinforce the barrier. At the same time, the close-range sister moved beneath the edge of the shield and attacked the serpent body. JuleWopp released a chaotic explosion. The blast almost threw the sacred bird from the bridge. Both sisters immediately abandoned their attack to protect it. JuleWopp prepared a larger spell while their formation was broken. The sacred bird used almost all of its remaining power to create a barrier around the sisters. Protected for only a few seconds, the archer fired an arrow directly between the two bodies. The attack disrupted their balance. At the same moment, the close-range sister struck the base of the serpent body. JuleWopp attempted to maintain chaos and protection simultaneously, but the connection between the two halves became unstable. The barrier collapsed. A final arrow struck the center of their shared energy, defeating the demon of balance. Jessiejedi encountered Katie shortly afterward. The angel immediately surrounded the demon leader with cutting flower petals. Katie received several wounds but continued moving forward. Jessiejedi used the blue dagger to inflict damage and the pink dagger to recover energy whenever she struck. Her speed allowed her to avoid the first swings of Katie’s axes. Katie realized that the pink dagger was the reason Jessiejedi could maintain the battle. She intentionally allowed the angel to approach. Jessiejedi struck her with the healing blade. Katie trapped the pink dagger between both axes. The angel attempted to pull it free, but the demon leader broke her balance with a powerful kick. Without her main source of healing, Jessiejedi began to weaken. She still managed to strike Katie with the blue dagger, opening another wound across the demon’s side. Katie accepted the injury and grabbed the angel. The succubus began extracting Jessiejedi’s life energy. The flower petals continued attacking, but they lost strength as the angel’s power disappeared. Katie ended the fight heavily wounded, but strengthened by the energy she had stolen. Brat decided that Seong had become too dangerous to leave alive. She sent her entire army toward him. The corpses of creatures and fallen fighters surrounded the demon of vision from every direction. Seong could see each body, but Brat continued reconstructing them whenever they were destroyed. Bands covered in eyes wrapped around several undead and drained their remaining energy. Brat advanced through the chaos with her sword. She attacked Seong’s copies, destroying one after another. The necromancer eventually identified the real body and reached the infernal chalice. Her blade struck its surface and created a crack. Seong used the energy stolen from Kimmie. Roots erupted from the floor of the arena and wrapped around Brat’s legs. The necromancer cut through the first roots, but the delay allowed Seong’s bands to surround her. Brat attempted to absorb the death stored inside the chalice. Seong began draining the energy Brat had collected throughout the battle. The two demons fought over dozens of stolen souls. Brat’s childlike body could not contain the pressure of both powers. The bands tightened around her. When Brat died, every corpse under her command collapsed at the same time. All the energy she had collected entered Seong’s chalice. Gabs reached the altar after defeating JuleWopp. Katie waited for her there. The demon leader quickly understood that the sacred bird was the center of the connection between the sisters. She attacked the archer first, forcing the close-range sister to move away from the bird. Katie then threw one axe directly toward the creature. The close-range sister intercepted the weapon and protected it. The attack had been a distraction. Katie threw the second axe against a stone column. The weapon struck the structure and changed direction, flying toward the bird from another angle. The archer fired an arrow and almost stopped it. Katie used the energy stolen from Jessiejedi to endure the pain of her wounds and strike the returning axe. The impact altered its trajectory again. The sacred bird was hit. Its protective power disappeared instantly. The two sisters lost their connection to life and fell beside their companion. Katie remained standing as the last member of Gabs’s formation faded from the altar. Eliminations of the fifth day: JuleWopp, eliminated by Gabs. Jessiejedi, eliminated by Katie. Brat, eliminated by Seong. Gabs, eliminated by Katie.
