K Fashionista First Impressions

First, congrats Holly on being Top Fashionista for the week/cycle (whatever you want to call it) and comgrats to the other players who made it to the placement board. Glad no silly joke ones didn’t make it on there. Here are my observations and thoughts during the first time process of it. Sin 🟢Time frame is fine. We get two shop cycles to prep and allows shop owners and designers time to have the opportunity to post items that relate to niche themes if they want to do that (they can post whatever they want but this is an opportunity to bring more variety tbh) 🟢 I like the item amount requirement to play because it incentives people to play games which helps them earn Koinz in each they use Koinz to buy outfits. I have seen people say “give everyone all the designs to use or some” but then that ruins the whole purpose of incentivizing other aspects, plus it is to showcase how creative of what YOU have. I know games like Dress to Impress give you a set of clothes and then there is is VIP and you can buy stuff with currency but that is a timed quick game while this is not. Plus in the nicest way possible, it is giving participation trophy vibes. If you really want to play this, you will earn your way for it just like if you want to play a game here you will earn the points and it isn’t that complicated to get it. 🟢Possibly increase the amount of votes we get. I like the pick one or the other concept but not being able to see all of the looks is a bummer. I think there was a reason why but I forgot. So if we can’t vote each day maybe just increase the initial amount because it is only two choices. The weird thing though I got some people twice but yet some of the people on the winner’s board never showed up on my voting selection screen.i do love the anonymous part because I don’t people avi’s by heart lol. 🟢See how we did. I love that we can see the top 50 and the winner’s look and items because this also gets to highlight the designer as well but as someone who submitted and didn’t place in the Top 50, I would like to know my score. Will it change anything? No, but it would be nice for maybe stats or just for the fun of it. 🟢Themes prepped ahead of time. I know this is still new but I think things need to have a flow just like everything else is on the site. I love the idea of is voting for themes but could that be something on that page or Anna can make a blog where we can vote during that current cycle? This could give people extra prep time and designers too (for those who need it without putting more time on the actual round) for potential options and once the theme is selected they can monitor and adjust but the biggest thing is the flow being smooth. Overall though, I really like this new feature/game and I am looking forward to see how it will evolve. I know it will eventually have moments where people will disagree on who will win because people take things so fucking seriously over a silly game but this is a great way to highlight creativity on both the players and those who created the designs. Plus personally it is nice to have something that isn’t comp focus (we need more of that). Hopefully this will continue to improve as the time goes by.
