Seongs Epic Battle S2 - Day 1

The first day began with the sky splitting open above the arena. Sixteen fighters were dropped into a fractured battlefield made of ruined temples, a dead forest, frozen cliffs, and a black shoreline where the waves moved unnaturally. From the beginning, the heroes understood that survival would depend on trust. Kimmie, Woofums, Basil, Melanie, Maris, Sprite, SurferSorbet, and Fancy stayed close, forming a fragile but loyal alliance before the first blood was drawn. The villains did not move the same way. Some of them gathered for a moment, but there was no real loyalty between them. Charlitos wanted control through firepower, Gabs wanted to crush anyone weaker, Brat watched silently like a predator, and akaliuchis waited for the dead to begin piling up. Bubba moved alone almost immediately, already searching for supplies and possible victims. Marquis became the first to make a mistake. He climbed into the broken towers near the ruins and began firing at the heroes from above, hoping to weaken them before anyone could reach him. His pirate instincts made him confident, but the height also made him visible. Maris took to the air, using her harpy wings to cut through the smoke and gunfire. Marquis fired wildly with his pistols, but Maris was faster in the open sky. She sliced through his shots with blades made from her own feathers, closed the distance, and knocked him from the tower. Before he could recover, she finished him among the stones. Charlitos responded with violence. His infinite bullets turned the ruins into a storm of metal, forcing the heroes to scatter behind walls, trees, and magical shields. Kimmie and Woofums held the front line together, but Charlitos’ weapon threatened to break their formation. Basil used the cracks in the ground to spread thorned vines beneath Charlitos’ feet. When the vines caught him, Kimmie summoned a violent spiral of wind, twisting his endless gunfire back into chaos. The cyclone lifted the dust, shattered the stone around him, and crushed Charlitos beneath the collapsing ruin. As the sun lowered, the arena became more dangerous. Manyomash tried to use the shadows and the sound of her bladed tambourines to ambush SurferSorbet near the forest edge. He fought back with his short scythe while his corvo circled above, but he was still too exposed. Before Manyomash could finish him, Bubba revealed that she had been waiting nearby. She had planted bombs under the roots during the confusion. The explosion swallowed Manyomash’s attack completely. Bubba did not save SurferSorbet out of mercy; she simply removed another villain and stole what remained. By nightfall, three fighters were gone. The heroes had survived the first day, but they had already learned that the arena punished hesitation. The villains had also learned something: betrayal could be just as useful as strength.
