Seongs Epic Battle - Day 3

The third day began with the abandoned city covered in marks of darkness. After Charlitos’ death, the heroic alliance lost its stability. Antog wanted to reorganize the group before any attack, but Ralts and SurferSorbet preferred to search for Bubba immediately. Brat remained alone, and Sprite distanced herself while carrying VenusVafa’s arrow, still confused between grief and anger. In the underground tunnels, Bubba and Nenalala were not truly united either. Bubba wanted to control the arena through darkness, while Nenalala used the deaths from the first two days to feed her necromancy. The remnants of magic left behind by Mackey, Kimmie, Charlitos, Stayc, and VenusVafa began to gather in an ancient square at the center of the city. Ralts and Brat eventually found the same hidden arsenal inside an abandoned police station. The tension almost turned into direct combat. Ralts tried to keep her distance with her weapons, while Brat used the building’s shadows to approach unseen. Neither of them wanted to waste energy killing another hero, but both made it clear that they did not trust each other. The dispute ended when a wave of necromantic magic swept through the city and forced them both to retreat. In the central square, Nenalala began her ritual. Skeletal hands, dried blood, and dead roots emerged from the ground, dragging everything around them inward. Space, Jordie, and Nettles tried to contain the magic before it could spread. Space illuminated the area with cosmic energy, Jordie bound the dead with magical chains, and Nettles sent her origami constructs to map the center of the ritual. But Nenalala’s necromancy corrupted the origami. The paper birds transformed into dark shapes and turned against the heroes themselves. Nettles tried to regain control of her magic, but she was surrounded by roots and by the lingering energy of the previous eliminations. She managed to open a path for Space and Jordie to escape, but was pulled into the center of the ritual before she could save herself. Nettles’ death strengthened Nenalala even further, but it also left her magic exposed. Space realized that the ritual depended on the accumulated energies of the dead and focused his cosmic light directly into the center of the square. Jordie used her chains to bind Nenalala in place, preventing her from escaping into the tunnels. Nenalala tried to absorb more energy from Nettles’ death, but Space’s light burned away the necromancy before she could complete the ritual. The dead roots withered, the bones collapsed, and the magical blood evaporated. Bound by Jordie’s chains and weakened by the cosmic light, Nenalala was destroyed by the very feast of death she had created. Bubba watched Nenalala’s fall from afar and made no attempt to save her. With the necromancer dead, she became the last major declared villain in the arena, but she also lost her main distraction. Instead of attacking, she retreated to the darkest part of the forest, leaving the heroes with the feeling that the real threat was still yet to come. The third day ended with only eight survivors. The heroes regained their numerical advantage, but lost their main source of surveillance. Without Nettles’ origami, the arena became quieter, darker, and more dangerous.
