i really don't want to be slandered here but there are definitely people that i have betrayed in the past but i am a nice person outside of the game and i don't really want people to think that my actions in a game reflect personal relationships because like sometimes the best move doesn't involve pleasing everyone but at the end of the day it is just a game and i hope that people don't think that i'm a massive douchebag irl

It's part of what comes with the game. If people cannot handle that, then maybe they should not play it. I understand the frustration, but the game can be played again. So many people have screwed me over and I'm fine with it. Now if they do it in an asshole way, then different story (not saying you have). I think you are being hard on yourself <3
