I love to read. But there is nothing worse than finishing a book that just consumed you (read the entire thing in about 24 hours) and then feeling like basically all the characters die at the end because its over and you don't get any more from them.
Good thing this is a series that has 6 more books and I ordered the next and it arrives tomorrow. But for now I feel broken hearted lol

Occasionally when I really enjoy something, I put off reading the last 20 pages or so just because I don't want the characters to be over
Cherry LOL i did 300 pages yesterday and then had like 40-50 left and I went to bed last night. But I couldn't resist and finished it today

Cherry I took a break from this like 20+ book series to read something lighter. Its the book series that Heated Rivalry is based on. Kinda a smutty gay love series
Cherry Before I was about 13-14 books into this detective series called Bosch (theres an Amazon show and some spin offs based on this one)
Goomybear oh nice. I watched the first episode of Heated Rivalry then haven't gotten back to it yet. I know what you mean though, sometimes you just want something fun and light. I have heard of the show Bosch but haven't watched, didn't know it was based on books. I'll make a mental note, I like mysteries
