I just dont understand removing games
like ofc go spend time with your family and prioritize that over running the site, making updates, etc. A website doesn't matter compared to seeing a family member one more time. Anyone complaining about a lack of updates or attention right now is just evil.
But that still doesn't explain going out of your way to remove one of the main games that people are actively invested in. This still is a business and main course of income and taking something away for seemingly no reason when it was already implemented and working fine just seems strange and not necessary. Truly nothing against Sin, but of course people are gonna question it

Sin then I would tell that to everyone who's using that as a reason to tell others not to complain about royale being gone
Evan It was meant to stay down until it was updated. Users asked for it back so I brought it back and we've now had daily incidents of people telling each other to kill themselves etc so the game is gone again. I really have no idea who is saying that but it's not shocking to me at all.

i don’t really feel like things were working well because people were being weirdly toxic and a rework is quite clearly needed irrespective of the toxicity. this is coming from an outside perspective because i haven’t played but it’s not even going to gone for that long? like if arena was removed to be updated, i wouldn’t be questioning what was already explained
Runaways I agree a rework is needed longterm, however I fully encourage taking time away to be with family as that's more important than reworking royale right now. If people are causing problems, there are mods in place to take care of it. I don't think people would question it if he announced it was being removed specifically to be worked on and then returned
He’s said countless times over the past few weeks he’s working on updates for it. Perhaps he needs to do some tweaking to it so he took it offline. To say he went out of his way to take it away without knowing any reasoning behind it is kind of an insane take. It’s also summer guys so like let’s step outside and get some air ?
VenusVafa taking it away to work on it kinda goes against the whole point of taking time away to focus on family. I encourage Sin to do whichever he prefers, but moving it to weekends only doesn't sounds like it's being updated currently

i agree but i also wonder if royale is healthy for the site? when ppl are in royale they dont join other games which means other games fill slower. and it causes more blog page drama than any other. i like royale. but its hard to balance id say
Sprite i join arena's and race all the time while waiting for my stamina to go back up, and also while 30 of us are sitting here in the blogs page race is sitting at 1/20 for the past few hours

Sprite I do get that, I guess we'll see how much it impacts other games. I think with 25 it's not so much of an issue bc some people do both, and some royale players just don't play many races/arenas to begin with. Maybe 5/10 per game are actively deterred from joining a game that they usually would, tough to say if that would move the needle.
