DNTM4 - Flop-O-Meter [Week 3]

Lewis 1 hour ago39 views

We are back for another round πŸ…πŸ… As always this is honest and tough love from your resident Season 3 flop. Let's see who ruled the room and who needs to be thrown to the tigers! 🐯🐯 πŸ‘’ The High Flops (Scores: 8-10) πŸ‘’ Fancy - Flop Rating 9/10 Oh, absolutely not. Your tiger is completely outdoing you. Who is in control? This is massive disappointment. The styling makes it look like you've been hired by the tiger to do his dirty work. Why are you even connected to it? Nothing about this makes sense. The brief asked you to show who truly rules the room, and in this scenario... it is 100% the tiger. It's not high fashion at all. The only positive is that its definetly unforgettable. Manon - Flop Rating 8.7/10 This does not scream elegance or high fashion to me. Your face is weak and lacks the power the brief explicitly asked for. The tiger, just like Fancy's, looks like it owns you, which means you are not ruling the room. The styling is meh. I'll praise you on attempting to create a fashion story, but the end result is forgettable and powerless. MissMiranda - Flop Rating 8/10 Visually, it's pleasing to look at, but the styling is a miss for me. I'm not a fan of the footwear, and whatever the mark is on your face. You're giving *some* strength, but the pose needed to be way more powerful. The tiger has no real fashion purpose here even if you look in control of it. Too many dots are not connecting. This photoshoot begged for luxury, but unfortunately the background is the most interesting part of this photo. It's a just a safe, inconsistent shot. GuiltyAsSin - Flop Rating 7.9.10 Unfortunately, this is just a mess to look at. From the pose, to the setting, to the tiger itself. I appreciate you taking a risk, but it's just not appealing to the eye. I wish you had gone for a brown or orange tiger, because absolutely everything else in the shot is gold except the tiger, which mistakenly turns it into the main focus when it should be your model. I do love the styling though, you look gorgeous but the composition is chaotic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ βš–οΈ The Mid-Tier Flops (Scores 4-7.9) βš–οΈ Marquis - Flop Rating 6/10 This is just okay. Honestly, I'm really looking forward to your makeover because I cant get on board with this hair. The styling is a little boring, and your face is way too relaxed compared to your angry tiger. The luxurious setting helps the photo a lot, but is it unforgettable? I'm really not sure. Amandasings04 - Flop Rating 5/10 This is high fashion.. ill give you that. Unfortunately, my eye immediately goes to the solhoutte in the background (is it meant to be a silhoutte?) that unfortunately doesn't match your model, which shatters the illusion instantly. I like the camera angle, and the outfit and styling are a chef's kiss. I'm not sold on the sunglasses, they completely strip away your models expression which was key here. You ticked off most of the brief, but these minor details dragged you down. Melanie - Flop Rating 4.9/10 This is great. You seem to master lighting really well, and it looks beautiful here. That said, I don't think the fabrics used actually look luxurious. Your legs also look oddly attached to your body, which breaks the illusion because she seems a bit twisted to the eye. Would I see this on a magazine cover? Yes. But it needs to be refined with bit more boldness. Right now, it's so peaceful you look like you could fall asleep with your tiger.. SpaceLab - Flop Rating 4.8/10 Visually, this is a great photo. I love the pattern on your outfit and the shadowing on your face is nice to look at. My issue is that there is zero connection with the tiger, you look totally disconnected, almost like two seperate photos edited together. Other than that, I enjoy this, it may be a bit simple but if it's working for you then keep going! Marilise - Flop Rating 4.5/10 This is a clean shot and I like the simplicity, but it makes me wonder if it's too simple. The brief called for bold fashion, but this is giving cutesy and clean. I was looking forward to seeing more grit and stronger presence. The leg placement looks a bit off and the model looks slightly awkward, but I absolutely love the outfit!!!! CupidStunt - Flop Rating 4.3/10 I love the model's face, it's strong yet effortless. She has great control over the tiger and remains the main focus, which is impressive since the tiger is massssive. However, your legs and the lion's legs get totally confused at first glance, it looks like you have three legs until you really focus. The styling is also a bit plain Jane and boring.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ πŸ‘‘ The Safe Zone (Scores 0-3.9) πŸ‘‘ Tjamal9106 - Flop Rating 2.5/10 I really enjoy this. The tiger is perfectly integrated into the composition, and you delivered the brief well. You actually incorporated the animal into your pose and expression, showing a genuine connection between the two of you. I would have just liked an even stronger facial expression to project pure power! It's safe, but it works. LeQuishaQ - Flop Rating 2.4/10 This is a beautiful photo, you look gorgeous from head to toe. Just be careful that your dress doesn't start making your model's skin look scaly or snake-like, AI can do this a lot when there's lots of textures. At first glance, I thought she was vaping but then I realized with the snowflake/ice theme, the room must be freezing cold, which is actually very clever. I do wish you had interacted with the tiger a bit more to show a power connection, right now, the tiger just feels like a prop that happens to be there. Vanili - Flop Rating 1.2/10 This is pure power. You have completely tamed the tiger to be your own. I love the animal print styling, which perfectly ticks off luxurious fabrics requirement from the prompt. The hair and pop of red gives a sense of danger and power, this pose is absolutely worthy of a magazine cover. Well done. Antog - Flop Rating 1.1/10 I absolutely LOVE the styling here, this is true high fashion. The straight hair works perfectly with the outfit, and nothing looks out of place. The mirroring of the legs is brilliant, and the way your outfit subtly matches the tigers patterns without being a distraction is genius. It looks like incredibly luxurious. My only wish is that your face was slightly stronger to really show who is boss! Zee_ - Flop Rating 0.8/10 This is exactly what I was hoping for. You look stunning, and the styling down to the hair is an absolute picture. This is bold, editorial, and incredibly detailed for an AI shot. I see zero flaws here. You are one of very few who confidently uses the tiger within the pose and portray a real connection. I am obsessed. My only note here is that It would have been breathtaking to see your eyes looking directly into the tigers eyes. Brilliant Job!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 2 Leaderboard: 1. My connection with the tiger is in attitude and stance, I didn’t want to go completely literal with the connection. Both me and the tiger are angry and filled with rage and about to unleash, part of why I have the tiger on the chain.

My tiger rules the room and thats answering the question of the prompt! It didn't say that the model should rule the room. I just took a different approach!

Fancy why would the tiger rule the room when your the model? It's an odd approach but I hear you.
