Can someone explain
To me why you’d want to go by a different name than your own? Like I get a gamertag or like first username you used or something but personally I just don’t understand wanting to be called something completely different. Genuinely curious since I don’t think I ever would want to

I went by a name that wasn't mine for my first few years in the community cuz I was prepubescent and then I just amended it when I was 18 but I understand how others who were a bit more notable by the fake name didn't

well some of us were on the internet since we were 11 and did not want anyone finding personal information about us/our parents. The name I made simply has just stuck with me.
Brxanne this!!!! i made up Ess/Essence when i was 13 for internet safety and it kinda just stuck :) it throws me off when someone calls me anything else LOL

Brxanne I get that, I think my brain has a hard time understanding because my first ever and basically only username has Ethan in it so I never like cared since it was just my first name
