This Celebrities game made me realize more than ever that a lot of the Brazil community around this website acts like a cult. Gabs told me all about the WhatsApp group that exists where people are readily available to be summoned for votes on speed dial, and the amount of people blogging in Gabs‘ name while trying to make everyone else look bad or racist has been quite absurd. I’ve taken my notes, and I think it’s appalling behavior the way people act like victims and paint people like me, Paulette, and Medusa in a bad light because we’re not Brazilian and so their go-to phrase is that we are treating Gabs terribly ONLY for being Brazilian. Gabs was treated the same way he treated us, and I even kept my composure and stayed friendly through a week full of arrogance and intimidation. He’s not the victim he’s making himself out to be, and he proudly uses his Brazilian „community“ as an intimidation tool, and I find that just a bit weird.
