Almost drowned today (not clickbait)

We are out kayaking for my friends birthday, and my kayak had holes and the inside filled up with water and slowly started filling and noticed it started to capsize (and it did officially flip over) Thankfully I had a life jacket, and my friends acted very fast along side this family from Mass who let me dock my kayak, my friend and obviously myself at their dock. They took me into their camp, gave me a bunch of layers to bundle up in and stay warm and truthfully I was so scared. I had to swim over 2 miles to make it to safety and the water was so cold. I’m grateful for everyone who acted so fast.
