Here is Kodua’s message to finalists Dakota and Torimarie:
Montana, some people in the jury house were discussing the topic of "safe games". Looking at your game from Week 1 to Week 9, some might say you played it safe, rarely making waves and laying in the shadows while bigger personalities fought it out. Then after the triple, really had to rely on your competitive prowess to comp out and secure your spot in this iconic final 2. Please defend your game in that regard.
Dakota, you started the game off strong with competition wins, but you made enemies very quickly in the early stages of the game. While you showed off your competitive prowess and your alliance won out in the end-game, many would say that your social game was more of a detriment than a help to your game. Please defend your game in that regard.

Kodua just wanted to reiterate - I have been typing all of this on my phone today while working. And I tend to ramble, especially when I’m at work and my mind is all over the place. I wrote out all of my own answers and statements! They are my words and my ideas! They were just long asf and needed to be more concise so for a couple questions I used AI to make my sentences flow more- since I had to keep pausing and walking away. I didn’t think that would be shocking or problematic considering the usage of AI in this game— (em dash) like, the cast photos, all the photos people make, and even some challenges used AI. This is my first time this game ruining the water supply. Again, all of my answers were my own! Lowk needed to put this reply into it bc mama rambled 🤖
Hi diva kodua That’s a great question—and I wouldn’t describe my game as safe, I would say I was very intentional! Early on, I actually did make waves. I had a major public blowout with Gabs, then another with Metropolis, who was a huge player, and I took him out during my HOH. Even when it would’ve been much easier to play it safe and go after Cleiton or Summer which would get no blood on my hands. Metro and Modern trusted me, and I still made that move. That’s not a safe game, it was strategic and risky. Because of that and my social positioning, I was voted as the person who was running the house, which again put a target on my back. I was never nominated until final 5, and that’s because I positioned myself correctly and made sure to form connections and gain people’s trust. After the triple, I won final 6 HOH, final 5 POV, final 4 HOH, and final 3 HOH! I don’t think these wins weaken my game, I think they strengthen it! Unfortunately in the end game- i only had myself to rely on and I recognized that shift and gave it my all in every single challenge, I worked hard to win challenges to make a spot for myself when my back was against the wall.

torimarie em dash and regular dash are 2 different things. This dash? — is not found on any standard keyboard and I highly doubt your ass is typing the several keys in combination to generate it specially. a normal - however? yes.

torimarie this was handwritten but I had it way too long and wanted to make it more concise! But all of the words are mine - I wrote it. Again, my game wasn’t safe. Had I played it safe I wouldn’t have had multiple public fights in the first few weeks, I would have nominated summerMariah and cleiton as HOH and played the middle, as modern and metro wanted to work with me - yes they did! But I still made a risky move especially since modern was such a competition threat and I was stuck in the pink house with him for another round. And as for the competitions, I stand by what I said. This doesn’t hurt my game- it strengthens it. I had nobody to rely on, I wasn’t dragged to the end, I fought for my spot here because my back was against the wall. Dakota is here because I allowed it! I played this game socially, I played this game strategically, I played this game physically. Torimarie is a fighter- and Torimarie deserves to win ASBB1!

Hi kodua! I definitely wish I had played a better social game in regards of reaching out to people and getting to know them for more than the game. At the same time, I was winning those competitions and making enemies early on. I had to secure strong relationships with the few people I KNEW i could trust, and focuson those alliances moving forward. This caused my social game to not be as strong (read, I did not have alliances with everyone in the jury), however it DID allow me the ability to be loyal to the poeple I gave my ABSOLUTE word to and avoided me having to hurt people to the best of my ability that would have grown close to me and then been crushed when I had to make moves to get myself here. I am proud of my game but yes, I think I could have been more of a social butterfly. I just didn't want to hurt people unnecessarily. I saw what happened in the purple house with Venus's eviction.
