Outside, 105°F heat and blinding glass towers. Riggs & biminibonboulash: “Finally, a city that understands aesthetic wealth.” Vans & lexeyjanereal (tight-lipped): “We’re not here to shop, we’re here to win.” Josh & cmgorilla yell “BROOO IS THAT A MALL WITH AN AQUARIUM?!” ScarletKing & Ethanrocker1 land later but immediately make up ground by finding a faster taxi route via Ethan’s offline map. Scarlet: “You and your pre-downloaded maps just saved our butts.” Ethan: “Technology is my love language.” 🚁 ROADBLOCK — “Who Can Stomach the Heights?” “One team member must climb to the outdoor maintenance platform of the Burj Khalifa and retrieve their next clue.” Highlights: Blue (for Medusaluh & Blue) scales the platform like a machine—zero fear. Riggs poses mid-climb: “Get my good angle, Dubai!” Lexeyjanereal trembles but finishes strong. Josh screams, “I CAN SEE MY HOUSE FROM HERE!” despite not living anywhere near Asia. Ethan: “This is Mad Max, but make it fashion.” Medusaluh & blue move silently and perfectly — they’re done before anyone else even arrives. Josh & cmgorilla flip their buggy twice but laugh it off. Riggs & biminibonboulash get stuck for 15 minutes but still beat several teams back to the road. 🏙️ SKYLINE Teams rappel down a skyscraper and clean 10 panels of glass perfectly to receive the next clue. Vans & lexeyjanereal choose this; they’re efficient, crisp, but silent — tension from fatigue. Rainolds & papa bicker constantly about streak marks. Papa: “You missed a spot.” Rainolds: “You missed a clue about my patience running out.” Paulette & nikw98 work calmly and steadily. sobriquet & amandasings04 are too busy harmonizing “Defying Gravity” to notice they’ve left two smudges. They have to re-clean them, losing precious time. ⚠️ RIVALRY IGNITES AT DUBAI MALL At the next clue box, Riggs & biminibonboulash and Vans & lexeyjanereal arrive together again. Riggs grabs a clue from the box at the same moment Lexey reaches in. Lexey: “You really like following us, huh?” Riggs: “No, darling. I like watching you crumble gracefully.” Vans: “Keep talking, maybe you’ll manifest a win.” Bimini: “Maybe we’ll manifest you a new personality.” They shove the clue back and forth before storming off in opposite directions. Shoppers are filming them. 🏁 PIT STOP — Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk Phil stands against the ocean backdrop, skyscrapers gleaming behind him. Teams arrive sweaty, sandy, and furious — but with style. Pit Stop Order (Leg 8 — Dubai, UAE): 🥇 Medusaluh & blue — utterly unstoppable.
