DNTM Photoshoot #8 Review

This is not a ranking. I liked everyone's photo this week. maris - Firstly, I like this photo a lot, crisp and nothing distorted from my eyes. I wished you strayed away from the horror concept, because this looks like a continuation of the spider photoshoot. I do also wished you would have brought that pink to the outfit, as it would have helped you pop out more with some color. Jane - Clean and simple. The concept is straightforward, but my only gripe are the pose (a few other models can be seen in the same exact position) and the color of the your outfit. The hue of this photo is very pink/red so choosing something like yellow or simply adding patterns to your outfit would have made this stand out. Brat - Unique concept, claw machine and location. Your model always looks gorgeous. However, you claim this is harajuku aesthetic, but unfortunately it is not. Wearing a babydoll dress does not = harajuku. The metal cylinder on top of the box is a technical error. Medusaluh - I definitely shouldve changed the colour of my fit, theres lots of pink hues and colours. I also shouldve refine the backyard the emphasize a junkyard setting. Sprite - You definitely nailed the frutiger aesthetic here, your model looks whimsical. I wish we got to see your whole body, the leg that we see has a chopped foot unfortunately. missKant - I love that you incorporated your fellow models as the dolls, and the claw machine picking you! subtle but impactful. I do think the pose is a bit blase, but you did a good job in making the photograph about you and nothing else. Kaliminaj - such a cunty pose ! I love that you went for this safari concept, and I can tell you know you ate it up, which you did. My only thing is the body distortions. Your angled leg seems to be quite short and your other angled arms has the same problem as well. I think a black leopard look also wouldve helped with popping out. akaliuchis - You've improved so much these past couple weeks, its actually insane! This photo looks like a character from a video game, which I live for. Such a unique concept I never wouldve thought of. I actually think you have a good shot at winning this week looking back again at your photo. My only critique is I wish this looked a bit more realistic rather than digital art. Manyomash - We both had similar concepts, but I think we both excelled in our own ways. I love the outfit, love the hair. Love the location too, but wish you would have changed the colour scheme of the room's interior, maybe more of a darker gothic color scheme to really emphasize you inside the claw machine.
