I wasn’t sure what the best way to honour her was. I don’t think anything could ever do her justice. Part of me feels she would’ve liked it in the gifts pop-up, but then again, she never cared much for recognition. The first time we ever spoke was over a decade ago (on that other site). She didn’t know me at all, yet spent her own money to gift me a design. That was just who she was. She spent her final years making strangers online happy, all while no one knew she was sick. Sometimes I catch myself wondering if she would’ve liked this place. I really wish she was around to see it.

Rest easy Vickie. You were one of a kind.

I was just thinking about this icon the other day, rest in peace queen. She gifted me my 1st design too. Confidently can say she was the most selfless, sincere, and kindest person on tengaged. ❤️
