my eyes are like less and less white every month

they are now red and veiny when i wake up, and will remain shitty throughout the day. I have to take eyedrops in the morning to whiten them but if i have a hard day at work, by the 6th hour they'll start getting red again. Is this normal dry eye syndrome or is something else going on with me?
