have a "social obligation" to be with your parents in it... need to be banned
and i'm not even speaking because i'm bothered myself, but because i need my boyfriend in town because it's the weekend and the weekends is when we spend 24hrs together but now i can't because he's morally/socially obligated to be with his bigotted family
so now how do we proceed because this isn't normal

i love that my barents literally stopped celebrating after i grew up lmao. it's nice to not have to stress about it or be buying gifts and shit.
