Frostbite - my bad experience
I know this might hurt me, but I can’t stay quiet.
Frostbite is famous here and has many friends, while I’m not very well known. She made a blog saying she really wanted the Galactic Hair from her shop, so I decided to buy it for her. After my purchase, I sent her a message asking if it would be okay for her to maybe buy something for me from my shop. I wasn’t expecting her to say yes I would completely understand if she didn’t have coins or couldn’t do it.
But guess what happened…
She did absolutely nothing. She didn’t say “thank you for buying from my shop” or “thank you for the hair I really wanted.” Not even a simple thank you.
As I said, I’m not famous or popular here, but I just don’t think this is a nice way to treat people especially newbies, on a site where we’re supposed to help each other and be nice to each other.
I don’t mind if, because of this blog, her friends decide to hate me, downvote me, or try to destroy my shop. I just wanted to share my opinion. I was raised differently and try to be nice to everyone. Some people, I guess, are used to getting gifts or don’t care about newbies.
Well… enjoy your hair. Wear it with pride.

Make deals with other shop owners for a gift for gift before just doing it out of the kindness of your heart. That was nice of you, and a thank you would have been nice, but it's also a good practice to just do things for others. Calling someone out for not saying thank you makes it seem like you did indeed feel entitled to something. Not defending Frostbite, but they also maybe didn't see your mail or let it slip their mind, etc. Sending them another message wouldve made more sense than this blog.
RobbieRIOT I really did it out of kindness. Only after I bought it did I think, “Oh, maybe she could buy one of my designs in exchange.” It’s also my first shop. I know you said I should have reached out to her, but she got a notification about the gift. She could also see on the shop page that she received her own hair she really wanted, and she also got a message from me. And if I sent another message, what would I even say? “Umm, hey… do you want to say something to me?” I just want people to be careful, and that’s why I made this blog. Sadly, I feel like we can’t be nice anymore here, and that makes me really sad. :( but I can see point of your view. I don't know why such a small thing was bothering me. 🫣
