when something doesn't work out it's not always a loss. sometimes it's just a quiet correction of the course before you hit something even worse. i have been redirected so many times in life, whether it be through jobs, friendships, or relationships. each scenario has taught me so many lessons and helped me to grow and some people don't experience until their 50's or 60's. everything happens for a reason, and even if it feels bad in the moment, there is a reason it's happening :)

The only thing more powerful than hate is love ❤️ Mad respect to bad bunny and his performance. Well done on representing love, respect, honesty and most importantly embracing his cultural roots 🇵🇷

I’m sure you all have heard about the burnt toast theory but if you haven’t, it’s that a small inconvenience may be protecting you from something bad happening. Like burning your toast could protect you from a car accident. Well I just experienced this, I forgot something so went back inside to grab it and I lowkey think that 30 seconds saved my life from being hit head on by a reckless driver and killed. Changed plans, a late start or forgetting something is actually the universe protecting us :) Stay safe out there everyone ❤️

i'm sure a lot of you have heard about the let them theory by mel robbins but if you haven't this is for you <3 so a little bit about me, i have been a chronic people pleaser for most of my life. it has stemmed from being the eldest of 4 kids, having to be the leader and role model for most of my life. now into adulthood it has morphed into being a chronic people pleaser, so i turned to podcasts to help me. i came across mel robbins podcast and book about the "let them theory" trying to make everyone happy became impossible, because you can't. people will judge you no matter what you do in life so just do what makes you happy :) not everything needs fixing. not everyone needs convincing. let people show you who they are, and let your self stop carrying what was never yours to carry <3
you're not running out of time. you're walking into alignment. everything you've been through has been preparing you for what's next. take a deep breath. you're exactly where you're supposed to be :) ily all <3
edit: this is not to negate women's mental health or make one more important than the other because both are equally important :) i didn't know what to blog about today but men's mental health is a subject i care about very deeply so i want you all to feel seen, heard and understood <3 i want to start by saying this bluntly, i am not a man and this is not my story to tell on behalf of men but it is something i care very deeply about. there seems to be a lack in support for men's mental health, and there needs to be more space, more compassion, and a lot less silence. this is a subject i care very deeply about because i had a male family member take their own life, and i wish at the time there was more support for men's mental health because he could very well be here today. many men are taught growing up on how to endure, not on how to express their feelings. to be strong, and dependable. somewhere along the way, their emotions become something they have to manage alone or just ignore completely which is why not many men speak up. let me tell you, emotional pain is not less valid simply because we can't see it with our eyes. struggling doesn't mean that you are weak, and needing help doesn't make anyone less worthy of respect. you don't need to have the "right words" all the time to deserve support. remember that you are not alone <3
take it from me, there is strength in leaving situations that don’t serve you anymore. not only that but there’s courage and bravery as well. i have stayed in situations for far too long because i was afraid to leave and let me tell you there is so much strength in leaving ❤️ hugs to all of you ♡

i think often times when people do awful things to us we wonder "i just don't understand how they could do that". and that's the whole point, what a blessing it is to not understand how someone could do something awful. it's a good thing to not understand because that means we would never do that and that is the underlying lesson <3

If you are laying in bed and thinking about all the things you could’ve done better. Please pour a little extra love on yourself and remind yourself that you are doing the best you can and that’s good enough <3

hi my loves so these are some of the affirmations i use to help when i am struggling so perhaps they can help all of you <3 - it's okay to want more and still appreciate where you are - you can care deeply without having all the answers - we are all learning as we go and that's normal - you're doing better than you think you are :) - you are allowed to change your mind (as many times as you want) hugs you all so tight <3
